Now it's time we help them.\n\n\n\nIn August\, a historic flood devastated this important local organization\, causing almost $100\,000 in losses and cleanup costs. And while Human Concerns started serving clients only days after the storm\, the impact is real and lasting. The center suffered monumental and irreplaceable losses on August 9 and 10. Its expansive basement storage area was inundated with water\, some of it flowing up from the basement's sewer grates. Among the losses were thousands of pounds of food items\; new and donated clothing\, school supplies (set to be given away at the start of this school year)\; countless new toys set aside for its annual Christmas giveaway\; wheelchairs\, walkers and shower chairs that they lend to the community at no charge\; shelving systems\; operational equipment and more. It was a massive\, painstaking and costly cleanup.\n\n\n\nThat is why the Bucyrus Club and Bucyrus Museum are proud to host "After the Flood: A Night of Help and Hope for Human Concerns."
