The parade will step off from Vernon Barg/Lions Legend II Park located at 8717 W. Drexel Avenue and go left onto Drexel Avenue to left onto Schlueter Parkway, travel down Schlueter Parkway to right onto S. Legend Drive, and then turn left into the front parking lot of City Hall up to the tree in front of City Hall (Map of Parade Route / Traffic-Road Closures & Parking Information). Parking will be available at the Franklin Library, the rear of Franklin City Hall, and Pyramax Bank. "We're sensitive to the tragedy in Waukesha and wish to honor the spirit of those who were killed or hurt by participating in the celebration of the Christmas holiday season with a parade, an activity they were participating in," said Mayor Steve Olson. "We are aware of the circumstances surrounding the Waukesha tragedy and are confident that we'll provide a safe and enjoyable event for families."
