I am Renee Martin the Vice President of Business Development, Trainer, and Leadership Coach with Dale Carnegie Training®. Dale Carnegie Training® is the Worldwide Leader in Personal and Corporate training with over 2,700 trainers and 18 million graduates in 80 countries. Dale Carnegie specializes in Effective Communications, Leadership Training for Managers, Sales Training, High Impact Presentations and Customized Corporate Programs.
For the past five years, I have served as the Vice President of Business Development and a certified trainer for Dale Carnegie Training®. I am certified to facilitate all Dale Carnegie courses and am also a certified Executive Coach specializing in one‑to‑one coaching methodology.
Over the last two years, I’ve been recognized as one of North America’s top “WOW Award” trainers, based on outstanding VOC scores. I am also honored to be the top global trainer for the Women’s Leadership Academy, leading the highest number of courses worldwide and earning top VOC ratings.
As a keynote speaker, I’ve partnered with numerous chambers and professional organizations, including the South Suburban Chamber, Professional Women’s Club, Women’s Leadership Summit, Women in Metals, Kiel Chamber, and Fox Cities Chamber. I regularly deliver onsite workshops for local organizations, offering customized programs ranging from two to eight hours across a wide variety of topics.
Across Wisconsin, I support a diverse portfolio of clients such as Georgia Pacific, Burger Boats, Miron Construction, JP Cullen Construction, Spee‑Dee Packaging, Amcor Flexibles, STERIS, and Alro Steel, among others. I found my true passion being a part of Dale Carnegie Training. As it provides me with the opportunity to help people overcome their fears and inhibitions. It is these very breakthroughs that participants gain self-confidence and leadership skills to achieve their goals and excel in life.

Daniel J. Thielen – Superintendent
Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District
Dan is in his sixth year with the Oak Creek–Franklin Joint School District (OCFSD) and his second year serving as Superintendent. Prior to his appointment as Superintendent, Dan served as Assistant Superintendent with OCFSD. Before joining the district, he spent 31 years with the Racine Unified School District (RUSD). In addition, Dan has served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside and Gateway Technical College.
Dan is deeply committed to preparing all students for success in college, career, and life, while helping them ignite their passion as lifelong learners. He believes strongly in the value of experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom and emphasizes the importance of engaging area employers and community leaders in support of schools.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, a Master of Education from National Louis University, Administrative Certification from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and Superintendent Certification from Cardinal Stritch University.
Throughout his career, Dan has been recognized for his leadership and service to education. His honors include induction into the Gilmore Middle School Hall of Fame; recognition as a Distinguished Leader in Education by Phi Delta Kappa; RUSD Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) Council “Citizen of the Year” (twice); Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC) Excellence in Education “Administrator of the Year”; and the RUSD PTA Council’s prestigious “Oak Leaf Award” for outstanding service to children and youth.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, his daughters and stepchildren, and his four grandchildren. His interests include golfing, fishing, boating, woodworking and lamp-making, exploring architectural salvage shops, attending Wisconsin Badger football games, and cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
