You’re Using AI. Now What? Five Ways to Get More Business Value from ChatGPT and Other AI Tools
Most people begin using AI for writing, editing, and brainstorming, but that’s only the beginning. In this practical and thought-provoking session, Marcia Wayer explores how business professionals can move beyond basic AI use and begin thinking of tools such as ChatGPT and Claude as research assistants, analysts, critical-thinking partners, and even ongoing monitors of work and opportunities.
Attendees will explore five increasingly powerful ways to use AI. The goal isn’t to turn attendees into AI experts, but to leave them thinking, “I had no idea I could use AI that way.”

Marcia Wayer is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the City of Oak Creek and an experienced marketing leader with a background in marketing research, communications, strategy and data-driven decision-making. She currently teaches Marketing Research at Carroll University. She has worked for and consulted with organizations ranging from non-profits and small businesses to multibillion-dollar companies in transportation, retail, and financial services, including Harley-Davidson and Northwestern Mutual. Naturally curious, Marcia embraces change and prides herself on figuring out how to get things done even when the path isn’t obvious.

That curiosity led her to become an early and enthusiastic adopter of AI, using it not just for writing, but for research, analysis, decision-making, simulated panels, and increasingly, automation. Outside of work, Marcia is a wife to John, mom to two adult children and Elmer, the family dog, who is the namesake of the family food-truck business.
